Unsurprisingly (for an equine law specialist) my first ever paid job was working as a Saturday hand in an eventing yard. Prior to that I had been paid in rides for stables duties at the local farm.
I once completed a certificate of title for a completion but put my bank sort code on the form instead of the office sort code (The last digit was the only difference between them). The money disappeared into a black hole and I had a very uncomfortable few hours whilst the bank located it.
The excitement in the voice of a client, who is also a first time buyer, when you tell them they now own their first home.
