The Chairman of HSBC plc, Sir John Bond, visited Wards Solicitors today to present the firm’s partners with a Bristol Blue glass engraved vase, to commemorate both Wards’ centenary and also the 100 year anniversary of the business relationship between the two organisations.
Wards was founded in central Bristol in 1905 by James Ward and now has eleven offices throughout Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, offering the full range of private client and commercial services. Wards has always banked with HSBC and its predecessor companies.
Sir John Bond commented: “My family originates from Bristol and I’m therefore especially proud to be able to present this token of HSBC’s appreciation for the customer loyalty Wards has shown the bank over the past 100 years. We hope the relationship continues for many years to come.”
John Brentnall, Wards’ senior Partner, added: “We have always received excellent service from HSBC, who have helped play an integral role in our growth over the years.”
