A new lawyer has joined Wards’ Portishead office recently. Karen Beynon trained with McCarthy and White Solicitors in Thornbury and qualified as a solicitor in 1998.

She specialises in offering advice on Wills, trusts and probate (estate administration) issues. She also has considerable expertise in Inheritance Tax Planning and court of protection work.  In addition to Portishead, she also covers the Nailsea area.

Karen comments: “Unfortunately, I see the many problems that can arise when a Will is not in place but, on the more positive side, I enjoy the challenge of helping minimise tax burdens via careful inheritance planning. I’m looking forward to working with existing Wards’ clients and meeting new ones in the area”.
