Two personal injury lawyers receive special accreditation - 14 March 2006

Janet Rimmer and Alison Underhill, partners specialising in personal injury cases at the Nailsea and Staple Hill offices of Wards Solicitors, have recently been awarded Senior Litigator accredited status by the industry’s leading association, APIL (the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers). They are the only APIL lawyers in the area to have achieved this status.

The status of Senior Litigator is reserved for those who can demonstrate 5 to 10 years’ experience of handling personal injury claims and the criteria and scheme are monitored by an independent academic quality council. 

Both can now use APIL’s specialist logo, which provides members of the public with a kitemark of competence and specialist expertise in this area. Janet is Head of the firm’s personal injury department and, together with Alison, is one of 4 senior lawyers in Wards who specialise in this area of law.
