Partner and Head of Residential Conveyancing Department

Gary joined Wards in 1992 as a trainee solicitor and became a Partner and head of the residential conveyancing department in 2002. He is a specialist conveyancer, whose main area of expertise relates to the buying and selling of residential properties. This includes re-mortgage, buy-to-let and transfer of equity transactions, where a person wants his or her name to be either added or removed from the deeds of a property.

Gary comments, "Residential conveyancing has formed the cornerstone of Wards’ work since its origins nearly 100 years ago. The residential conveyancing team provides a very accessible service for our clients, aiming to be friendly and approachable at a time that is often stressful. We aim to remove that stress by keeping our clients informed of progress on their transaction.”
